To submit a film you must:

• Comply  with the Mostra regulations and pre-selection conditions.
• Fill in the online pre-entry form by June 4^th 2026 for full-length films, May 28^th 2026 for short films and by May 4^th 2026 for restored films.
• Pay the entry fee of 200 Euro for full-length films and 80 Euro for short films by credit card, debit card or PayPal ^*.
• Late registration fee: from May 15^th, 250 Euro for full-length films and from April 30^th, 100 Euro for short films ^*.
• Upload your film at the web link you will receive or send it to the  Festival’s address by June 4^th 2026 for full-length films and by May 28^th 2026 for short films (The submission date will be verified by the postmark or the AWB date). Note: For short films, only file uploads are accepted.

^*All fees include VAT.

Films can be selected for:

• Venezia 83 (competition - Full length films)
• Open - Out of Competition
• Orizzonti (competition):  full-length films of 60' or more and short films up to 20' credits included
• Venice Spotlight
• Venice Classics (Restored films - please request the registration link at veniceclassics@labiennale.org)

The Direction of the Festival decides in which section a film may participate.

Submission Steps:

• Fill out the submission form. After clicking "SUBMIT THE FORM", it will no longer be possible to amend the data. You will then receive a confirmation email with your paycode and payment instructions.
• If you do not receive this email immediately, please check your spam folder. If it is not there, the submission was most likely unsuccessful.
• Before contacting our offices, please try again, making sure that:
  • you do not let the session expire
  • you are using an updated browser (we recommend Google Chrome)
  • you have enabled cookies and redirects
  • you are not using a VPN
  • you have filled out all mandatory fields and have not exceeded character limits
  • you are using only Latin characters
• After completing the payment, you will receive an email with instructions on how to upload or send the film, as well as a separate invitation from Mnemonica to access our streaming platform.
